Brennan’s bag 3 top award nominations!
Conor McKibbin has been in business over two years now with Brennan's SPAR in Loughinisland. His high standards, switched on attention to his local customers' needs, as well as a focused and high quality range of products and services instore, have earned his store finalist status for 3 top notch award nominations!
The store has prestigiously been made a finalist in two categories in the UK-Wide Retail Industry Awards; the ‘Independent Retailer of the Year' award and the ‘Forecourt Retailer of the Year' award. To be listed as a finalist is a very high accolade indeed and a testament to the strength of the business and the hard work which is put in by Conor, Gemma (Store Manager) and his team of staff at Loughinisland.
In another set of awards, ‘Forecourt Trader Awards' Brennan's SPAR has been shortlisted for ‘Best Rural Site 2010.' Conor and his staff at Brennan's SPAR work hard to provide a convenient forecourt site for catering for all the needs of locals and tourists alike; infact the outdoor decking and fantastic range of on site services including a chip van, café, carwash, homemade ice cream and more, ensure that it is a popular stop for tourists to enjoy a break from travelling along the beautiful coast line!
Speaking in advance of the awards ceremonies, Conor commented, "We at SPAR Loughinisland are very excited about these awards nominations, and hope that we can win them all, as it will bring a great sense of pride to the staff who work here, knowing that their hard work has been rewarded. I believe that our site here is a unique site, with great support from local customers and passing trade, and the hard work and dedication of the staff instore has ensured that we are in the top categories and set to (hopefully) be a multi award winning store! We also hope to continue to service the area for many more years to come!"
The reward for the teams' hard work will hopefully be granted when Conor travels to London for the awards ceremonies later in September!
